Free PlayKIDS

Safety

Free Play only works if every family can trust every other family. Everyone agrees to this before they can use the app.

Community Safety Pledge

  1. Be myself. Use my real name and a clear, recent photo of me — not my children.
  2. Only connect with people I know. Accept invites from families I've actually met, at school, in my neighbourhood, or through friends.
  3. Supervise, or agree on who does. Before every playdate, confirm which adult is responsible for the children and whether it's drop-off or stay-and-play.
  4. Share what matters. Keep allergies, medical needs, pets, pools, trampolines and firearms-in-the-home information accurate and up to date.
  5. Respect a no. "Not this time" is a complete answer. I won't pressure, guilt, or follow up outside the app.
  6. Protect children's privacy. I won't post other families' children, addresses or schedules anywhere else.
  7. Speak up. I'll report anything that makes me or my child feel unsafe — and call emergency services in an emergency.

Assumption of Risk & Release

Play involves risk — scraped knees, allergic reactions, falls, and occasionally worse. By using Free Play, you understand and agree that:

Some places don't allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this may not apply where you live.

Reporting someone

Every profile has a block and report option. Blocking is immediate and silent — the other family is not told, and you disappear from each other's circles. Reports come to a person at support@freeplaykids.com.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Free Play is not an emergency service and cannot intervene.
